How often does your DH/DP call his parents?

Following on from the post below, I wondered how often your DH or DP calls his parents.

DH calls once every couple of weeks or so I guess (am hoping DSs call more frequently than that and don't follow him in that respect).

My inlaws get really pee'd off if he doesnt ring them every few weeks. If that help we get nasty text messages, saying dont you care, why havent you rang?!!!
Grr wish he would ring them more, they blame me, but he just doesnt see the point on ringing often, he gets tired of listening to his dad moan LOL

Most days! If mil doesn't get a call in about a week she calls me to ask what's wrong and why hasn't he called her. She also calls to remind him to call sil. Purlease.............

dh calls them maybe once a week if that....and usually gets passed around the whole family iykwim...even when he can't be arsed !

My dh's mum used to send me really off letters / emails saying that I was stopping him calling her... i had to put her straight in the end, that he is an adult and does not 'do as i say' and so his not calling her is an issue between them and has nothing to do with me.

she recently sent him a pile of old mothers day cards he had sent her a a kid, with no explanation why she had sent them!? hmmm... smacks of emotional blackmail to me!

my dp texts his mother everyday.

DH calls his almost every day. I'm not sure whether it makes him a mummy's boy or very caring. I tend to ignore it now. It can get a bit much though I have to say especially as he often works late and our time together is limited as it is.

DH speaks to his parents, esp his mum, at least 2-3 times a week I would think.

never. they text every couple of days. we see them every week. MIL texts me every day, sometimes twice or three times...

If he hasn't heard from his parents in a month he'll then phone - well actually I dial the number and throw the phone at him!

Every weekend without fail. In fact, he's made me better about phoning my parents. It's sort of a Sunday morning ritual now. (Both our parents live overseas so we don't see them often)

Dh calls his dad quite frequently because they play chess online and they also catch up on weekends about the football.

I think his mum calls him more than he calls her. He speaks to her a couple of times a week I'd say.

Once a week - he occasionally forgets and misses a week

On average about once a week, usually a Sunday evening, he tries to fit it in between the dc bedtime and West Wing!
