DP's sense of humour.

This isn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things but does anyone else have a DP like this?

I think I'm fairly laid back but DP's sense of humour makes me so annoyed at times. I feel like literally everything I say, he responds with joke - usually about me.

He says his family tease each other all the time and it's just what he's used to but honestly now it's just tiring and puts me off talking to him. I've told him this and he said he'd try not do it but he still does! I feel like he lives to wind me up.

Anyone relate to this?

OP it's hard to tell without examples whether it crosses the line from bloody annoying and immature to being nasty but for reference look up the term gaslighting often examples include where the other party claims to be "joking " and they use it as a vehicle to be cruel....it's a particularly cruel way of abusing someone

I have a friend whose fiancee does this and I hate that she won't see it. ...he posted something on fb the other day that made me rage comparing her to a hippo

We've all tried to challenge it before and she won't hear of it .....but he continually claims we have no sense of humour....yeah we do we just don't feel the need to be vile

Have a careful think about how it makes you feel and that is always valid whatever he says
