Re: tax credits, call tomorrow and ask for a referral to the Manually Adjusting payments team. Advise them you are relying on disability benefit and that you would them to consider making further payments this year with any overpayments being taken off payments from next. Stress the urgency of situation.

I can't help with your partner other than say LTB
