If you had a drunken encounter with your best friend's husband, would you tell her? If you did tell her, would you expect her to stay friends with you?

She has insisted he leave to give her space to process the information. I can't see her taking him back but it takes time to get your head around the fact that your marriage is suddenly and unexpectedly over. I wouldn't ask her what she wants to do yet.
