She's only my temporary manager. My actual manager (S) is on an extended vacation.

But she just... does things to me. Stupid, teenagery things like butterflies in the stomach whenever she lets out one of her trademark dorky giggles... She's a complete goofball, and I"m head over heels.

Common sense has kept me quiet. I googled for an active forum to join just to have some strangers to talk to about this!! I'm aware I should just put the feelings aside until they pass...

...but she won't be my manager forever. Just for the next month. Should I try talking to her about it then, I wonder?

Finished work! She asked if I want to have dinner with her so we are going to hers and we are going to cook it together :)

Can't believe that like two weeks ago I was just crushing on her, pining away from afar, and now I get to hold her hand and hug her and kiss her just about anytime I like.

Okay, since you asked :)

She asked if I wanted to have dinner with her, so we went back to hers and cooked it together. We made a really nice beef stir fry, and then ate it in front of the TV watching a movie... and after we ate, we curled up together on the couch for the rest of the movie.

I was going to go home after that, because buses, but she invited me to stay over, so I did. Nothing too scandalous, just kissing (lots of kissing) and actual sleep. We woke up together this morning and cooked a proper breakfast - poached eggs and baked beans on toast!

We spent some time in her garden, I helped her with her weeding. We watched another movie this afternoon... there was more kissing...

I've just got home (it's nine at night). Best night :) :) :)

I went back... spent Monday with her too. She worked Tuesday, but I had dinner ready for her when she came home.

Thank you guys for being so sweet about my gushy bleating :) I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't had people to talk to about her. Probably wouldn't have said anything, and wouldn't be where I am right now, in her bed, with her asleep half on top of me lol. (Turns out she's a snuggler!)

We're waiting a while before we go all the way (you said you wanted details, stop me if this is too much) but this feels pretty great to me already.

My actual manager S is back from vacation! So pleased to have her back, she's lovely. Today was my first shift with her back. Oh man. It was a GREAT day. The amount of work we BEASTMODED through, it was astounding. People from other departments were commenting on how our staff were running around like little machines all day! S was really pleased with us.

Of course, I was hugging a secret to myself all day, wasn't I? like I do every day I work now. The secret was that this morning, I woke up in M's bed, with sprawled half on top of me (that is apparently how she sleeps lol I love it). You know. M. The person S picked out to be our manager while she (S) was on vacation.

I couldn't help grinning and laughing to myself all day lol!
