well done on getting the appointment.

Our first appointment was really eye opening and made us feel very close almost straight away.

this is a good thing.

yes a good omen
don't know the situation MT but good on you for making this step and hope it goes well
HC xx

I'm sure it will go well. My Dh and I had huge problems at the beginning of our marriage. These have all sorted themselves out and we have been really happy. I think we deserve most of the credit but Relate certainly helped us get on the right track. I hope it works as well for you MT.

wotzsaname · 11/02/2007 23:16

At least 12 months later you will have a clear memory of the date of your first visit.

Hope it goes well.

Im hopefully going to see Hot Fuzz!

OMG that was soo odd - and quite funny at times. I'm not sure if DP is going to take to it. The counsellor said, looking straight at him, "this is going to be very challenging for you" and DP just didn;t get what he was saying at all. I felt a bit sorry for him. He's hanging onto the idea that he is in the right and I'm in the wrong. I don't know if he'll be able to take it any other way, no matter how fairly distributed the responsibity.

Don't know your situation MT but sounds like the counsellor has got it! Hopefully DP will listen/take on board what's being said.

Keep going and you will get there in the end.
We went and there were times we thought it was a waste of time but it did help us in the end.
