Talking on the phone before meeting....good or bad?!

I'm really hoping for some positive stories to give me hope!

I've met someone online, all good and he wants to meet but is away for a few weeks. In the interim we have spoken on the phone a couple of times and now inevitably I really like him!

So my question is....does speaking on the phone before meeting make it more or less likely that the chemistry will hold when you finally met?

Honest opinions please!!!

Loving hearing about all the pre-meeting chatters who are now still together!

roverman I think that it's fine to have no online profile.....just if you tell someone you are something specific then you should expect them to search online to check if out I. E. If you say you work at x,y,z

I wouldn't roverman. Actually find it rather rude and intrusive. And surely it takes some of the fun out of meeting a new person, and getting to know them over time?

Ah I remember having massive butterflies the first time DP phoned me , it was ace!! Two weeks later we met for the first time, two years on we are really happy and getting married next year Grin

Based on my OLD experiences and anecdotes from others, I'd say talking on the phone is a good start, but no guarantee that you will be attracted to each other or hit it off when you meet.
