I am about to find out if dp and I can get married there in July. We're on our way to Scotland for a couple of weeks and will be passing close by.

I actually get on very well with all of my in-laws etc but the thought of a big wedding makes me shudder.

i must admit i hate the idea of a big wedding. As long as ive got a nice dress and photo's to show then il be happy. Have you checked out their website it sounds quite reasonable just got to work out the best way of getting up there as were all the way down in cornwall.

Havent got married there, but pass it most weeks on the way home or down to my parents. Can recommend new hotel there called Smiths which is supposed to be lovely.

Good luck.

Oh and Kerry Katona is supposed to be getting married there on Valentines so I would give that day a miss...

I got married there 3 years ago at the balcksmiths.
It was lovely. A small wedding, just close family.

Have you looked into it?

rosebud1980 · 04/02/2007 12:35

no not really how many people did you have and what did you do for the reception.
