How to meet The One? Advice needed

I’m asking for a friend (honestly)… She’s in her mid-thirties, single, trying to meet someone special… She’s very outgoing, friendly, works for a big company also tried salsa, the usual going out with friends, online dating and speed dating... I’m trying to come up with some fresh ideas on where she can meet more people and potentially her soulmate I’ve suggested volunteering, Meet-Ups and climbing… Would anyone have any other ideas? Where did you meet your partner? Any suggestions looking at how your friends met?

I think expanding circle of friends is the best bet. & that can be done via joining MeetUp groups, socialising with people who have same interests, and doing hobby you enjoy (not a hobby you hate but have to keep up the pretence that you love it, should you meet a man you want to date there!)

I don't necessarily believe in "wait and it will happen". Women are freely told to go for it re so many things...a career change, new hobby, travel etc but when it comes to wanting to meet a man oh no, you have to wait. Why? Nothing wrong with expanding life a little, and browsing
