The way DH talks grates on me

The way my DH talks to people is really starting to grate on me. For instance we were at the bakery earlier and he was choosing what he wanted in the end he said "Give me one of those pasties and a sausage roll...stick a bun on that too". why cant he just be like everyone else and said "I'll have..." or "could I have..."

"Give me..." sounds so rude IMO.

Another example was this afternoon, we went into the travel agents to pay off some of the holiday, instead of handing over the money and saying "I'd like to pay * off my holiday please" DH slams a load of notes on the desk and says "stick that on my holiday please!" we then get given a mucky look and DH proceeds to try and be funny and say something to make the agent laugh which fails misserably.

Am I blowing it out of proportion?

yes, this is just another example of how he behaves, I just wondered if I was nit-picking or if it would annoy others too.

You need to get in touch with this poster, you appear to have a lot in common.
