how to get over someone that clearly doesn't feel the same way as you do?!

It's a long long story but I met someone and dated a few weeks and then it ended and he came back and made promises he couldn't keep and made so many excuses not to spend time with me. It ended again!
I don't know why I did it but 3 months down the line I just sent him a text to see how he was and he answered but had no interest in me what so ever. Why can't I just get over him? He didn't even make me feel nice. I don't know what I'm missing really 😕

I feel better knowing I'm not alone but also feel for you guys! It's so hard! I think the weekend more so! Definitely need to drown out my sorrows. Just poured myself a huge glass of wine after a super shift!

This thread has struck a chord with me too, it's just shit isn't it. I hope you feel better very soon, I think I'm surfacing from the quagmire, there's light at the end of the tunnel, you'll get there, best wishes.

As much as I don't want to I'm going to remember the really cruel way he treated me on occasions. I usually try and think positively but he did some awful things that I went along with and now I think I need to see him for what he was.

This is what I keep reminding myself! He actually had a day off work once to pick up his new car and said he didn't have time to come and see me as he had to take his sisters friend for coffee! 🙈

I just feel free, like a weight has been lifted. I'm far from over it completely but I now feel better than I have for such a long time.
