Finding a male counsellor for a relationship tuneup??

What is the easiest way to try and find a counsellor in the UK? My DH suffers from seasonal depression (in autumn) which is really bad this year and I'm struggling with getting him to deal with it. I'm also having ongoing issues with trying to get him to be more helpful round the house. I think we need a relationship tuneup before our first child comes along at end of May this year.

I'm not sure how to manage it anymore (hormones aren't helping) and would prefer to have a 3rd party (male - to make him feel more comfortable) there to talk through our stuff and then maybe tackle his stuff on his own.

Any thoughts?

Relate is by far your best option- don't know if you can specificaly request a male counsellor and you should know there are far fewer men in this field so it might delay time to see someone.
All counsellors are trained to make people comfortable and should be empathic and positive about you both, If not you've got the wrong person (regardless of gender). Like any profesion you can get bad ones!
Good luck!

Thanks guys - I've found the details of a few people and will see how I go. Got to get DH to agree to come first i guess

I'll just keep reminding him that somehow in our pre-marriage counselling (all of 3 sessions) I came out looking like a complete witch and he looked like a saint. Still no idea how that happened but it might entice him in the door then i can let it rip!
