Am I weird?

I've just started a new job. I really like one of the guys I'm working with, in THAT way. We have got so much in common, it's almost like he's the male me (IYSWIM). I'm married with a DD and he is living with his girlfriend so there is no way anything is going to happen.
He has to teach me my new job so we're spending a lot of time together, sat very close to each other.

Now - this is the weird bit (I think). On the days we have to sit close together I get very, very, VERY horny for DH.

Is that odd?

don't analyse it - just enjoy it Bet DH is.

ConnieLingus · 11/01/2007 13:12

He probably would - if he wasn't so damn tired a lot of the time!

ooh, been there, quite scary.
Just try and keep an objective view of yourself while you're with this guy. It would be embarrassing to have colleagues comment on how well you get on.
Plus you don't want to be his best friend at work, it's like getting a new boyfriend on your first day at college - from then on your are his gf and all your friends are his friends too. Just enjoy the extra spice it's obviously giving your marriage but do try really hard to 'play' with other people at work, esp women.

I've known him for ages - I just transferred into his department from my old one and we've been friends for ages. I do have lots of female friends at work and, to be honest, it just looks like we're the same 'matey' way as he is with everyone else. There's just that little extra frisson when we're close to each other.

I feel like a bloody teenager!

And you're not wierd. This is called beneficial harmless flirting (by those wierd folks who go in for monogamy) - you enjoy the sensations of flirting but don't do anything actually unmonogamous. It's kind of like going to the cinema, letching over Johnny Depp/Sean Bean/whoever then giving your DH a mattress-shaking boink cos you're so revved up by your thoughts.
Just enjoy.

BURNINGTHECANDLE · 12/01/2007 23:58

Yeah that is seriously nothing to stress over .I agree with the madam enjoy! Liked the names very good. Entertaining
