also for my 21st he payed for me and himself to go on holiday. while we was there, we went for a walk down the sand to a pub we loved (was an Irish bar with the the Beatles on) he started to slow down and distracted me by saying he could see something in the sea, when I turned round he was on one knee proposing to me.

the sod ruined my make up from crying.

Arranged time off work and flew him as a surprise to Dublin and paid for everything for a long weekend.

He paid for me to fly business class to my nieces wedding and has bought me incredibly nice and quite valuable jewellery on his business trips.

He paints me birthday and Christmas cards.

every single time he bought me flowers, I pressed some petals in books.

Many years later, when reading old favourites, the petals fall out, all faded and falling apart.

Never made a pie though:)

An Ex had a watch that was in pieces as he had left it in his pocket when he had it dry cleaned. When I asked why he still had it, turned out it had been his fathers who had died when he was a child.
For his birthday I had it repaired and checked with his mum what the strap had been like so that I could get a close replacement.
He was over the moon with it.
