Adult temper tantrums... How normal are they?

I don't think it is particularly normal to lash out. Am I wrong?

You may have repeated your mum's relationship (as you say) but you are trying to do something about it!! Many people never do wake up and try to make a change, so please give yourself a pat on the back, and keep moving forward. Do not beat yourself up for this, please! Flowers

ChubbyPolecat · 05/03/2016 13:51

It doesn't really matter why he's doing it...you don't have to put up with it

EasyToEatTiger · 05/03/2016 15:01

It seems like I'm not alone today! There are too many people in crap relationships. It's so good to hear that there are good men out there who don't call their partners names, who delight in sharing sex, who don't throw tantrums to hurt their other halves. It takes a while for the penny to drop and to really understand just how shit things really are.

He is abusive. Please work on leaving. Show your daughter that there are many better options than putting up with abuse, including being single.

EasyToEatTiger · 05/03/2016 16:15

I will start getting my ducks in a row. There is no point in whining about his appalling behaviour.

It does sound appalling and you don't deserve it. Whatever the reasons for it, it's wholly unacceptable. you deserve a peaceful, calm home.

EasyToEatTiger · 05/03/2016 17:21

Everyone deserves a calm home. My husband complains about it constantly and needless to say everyone else is at fault. He truly is a shit.
