So long story coming up...there has been a guy about town that i see occasionally he seemed to like me we got chatting and exchanged numbers, turns out he is 5 yrs younger than me. He text the next day and I sad maybe I was to old for him he laughed it off but never said no your not. Then he didn't get in touch for a week so i text him and he answered straight away and we exchanged quite a few msgs but that was 3 days ago and now I'm wondering should I be first to text again or maybe I should just forget about him and move on. I'm just getting back into dating and don't really know the protocols so advice is appreciated 😊

He's going to be more embarrassed about seeing you, than you should about seeing him. He's made himself look an utter tit in my opinion. No more nice replies, no more worry. Block the inadequate, needy perv & move on.

He sounds awful. Block and move on. He's the one that should be embarrassed, what a loser.

Block his number on every source WhatsApp, text etc. You know that he makes you uncomfortable so take control.

If you ever see him in rl and he asks why you never reply (he probably won't because he's only interested in the second which you're not giving him) you can always breezily mention changing your number/getting a new phone if you don't want to say outright that you blocked him.

Stupidly autocorrect - only interested in the sex

I am just in from the shops I was worried about seeing him about thankful he was not out must still be in his cave. I think I have had a lucky escape to be honest. Imagine if I hadn't text and we had ended up hooking up some time! He has shown his true colours. I am too nice and have a habit of thinking everyone is also nice it is clear they are not. What a loser indeed.
