Call me naive but what is a Brazilian wax - I know its waxing of the pubic area but what sdistinquishes it?

No it doesn't. That's a Hollywood. A Brazilian is basically a very high bikini wax. Takes most of the hair off but leaves a strip down the middle (as a kind of runway? )
