ever take the initiative and actually ask out someone you've been e-mailing that you met on a (to the best of my knowledge!) reputable dating site? We've been e-mailing for a week (yes, I know, my best friend tells me I am VERY impatient) but seem to get on really well and have same sense of humour, views on things. Domestic situation is similar too. FWIW, 99.99% certain he is telling truth about not being married. Exchanged 9 e-mails on Friday alone which I thought was quite promising, but no mention of date. How long would you leave it before taking the initiative, and if so, how could I play it in an incredibly low-key way so as not to scare him off? God, I feel like I'm writing to the problem page of Just Seventeen circa 1985 (shows my age!) . Any advice would be appreciated, even though I know I may not like what I'm hearing! TIA
