My dp's out drinking, and Im stuck at home on my own. Do I sound really (dunno what the word is) pathetic for being a little bit jealous of him for being out having a laugh drinking whilst Im home alone surfing the internet until its time for bed?

well i'm doing the same. dh is out at his mates house, i'm chilling to music, got a takeaway and watched a film. now i'm just sat on here thinking i should go to bed and cant be arsed to get out of my chair.

I am the same!! dh away for weekend bragged to him today I have not put the telly on once since he left (he watches constantly) but in actual fact been on MN an awful lot!

My DH is also away on a stag do and I've not spoken to him since 10am when he said he'd get me a g&t in at the bar in Prague ffs! So I've had a couple of drinks tonight and I'll look forward to next weekend when I can go out. I always think its hard in the summer, sunny weather, girls in skimpy clothes, you feel like the whole world is having fun going out without you.

You all sound like me. midden- I have same TV prob. That is all he wants to do & I want to be out and about! Every couple of wks he goes away & I am left to run house.
Why don't we invent a pub creche? (good looking blokes would have to attend too, just for a flirt)

Sunlounger · 21/05/2004 19:48

Same boat too- crack open the wine I am

SoupDragon · 21/05/2004 19:55

Me too! I'm really annoyed not that DH is going out with an old friend rather than coming home to us but because he can drop everything at 5:30 and say "I'm going out" without having to worry about who's lookign after the children. Last night on my planned night out he drifted home at 7:15pm... grrrr

Sunlounger · 21/05/2004 19:57

Ihave been out twice in 5 months..i'm getting crazed.....

Piffleoffagus · 21/05/2004 20:11

I like sitting at home, lounging around, in pjs drinking wine and scoffing cakes without having to share either...
Plus can natter away on mn without being challenged while watching MTV on tv without him channel hopping constantly..
I do love him you understand...

Piffle- we all love them, but a good moan helps.
Has anyone had babysitters over so you can have a romantic eve? Think I'd rather go out with the girls and have a good giggle
