If you want to use this thread for your own stuff after mine then feel free, hope i've put this in the correct section.

Before I start i'd like to say I'm not worried, just interested to find out what is going on up there.

We are both in our early 40s, been going out together a few weeks and everything is ok. Anyhow, i'm round at hers for the evening and will be stopping over (nothing new). Her dog has been very ill and she's just got it back from the vets, it's not looking good at all, it's been treated for all sorts and we're wondering if it will make it or get better. She's obviously upset and has tears in her eyes sometimes as she's looking after him.
So it's bedtime and i'm thinking that there won't be any sex tonight as the dog is very unwell downstairs, heck it may even die tonight. This is of course fine by me, kind of out of respect for the dog and her all I want is to cuddle her and go to sleep.

She wants sex though and initiates it, so we do and it's fine. It just surprised me a bit and seems I misread the situation and really, I just wondered why she wanted sex while he was so ill downstairs. I've seen it on TV/films where people have sex in odd situations, i'm guessing she just wanted the ultimate version of closeness and..... what?
Maybe I should ask her?

Did you not get your turtle the MMR. or were you worried you may have ended up with an autistic turtle?

This couldbe very genuine so I'm going to say the reason was comfort, she simply wanted comfort.

Not the answers OP wanted I'm guessing...

My dog was very unwell the other week. The vet had prescribed painkillers, but unfortunately I couldn't administer them as the parrots et em all.

Which in itself was a tragedy as the painkillers in question were poisonous to parrots :(

I of course had immediate sex with my man as per section 9 subparagraph 7 of the rule book, where it covers "ill animals and their effect on your sex life".
