Hope you're ok today Bogey.

  • he has form
  • your instincts have been spot on
  • previously when this happened the nasty cheating shit let you go on medication whilst pregnant rather than be honest (and faithful!) to you.

I'd leave the shitscrape for that alone, let alone further twattery.

LTB.

If you can see the number can you dial it using 141 and see who answers?

JaniceJoplin · 01/07/2015 10:23

If it is an iphone you can download software (costs about £15) called decipher messages that reads all current and deleted text messages. It is installed on the pc that your DH connects the iphone to to sync it and such like. You don't need to access the phone to do it, just access to the PC. There is probably versions for other types of phones if you google it. I have used this with a friend and it works beautifully and gives you all the info you need.

TheFormidableMrsC · 01/07/2015 10:27

OP can't see the number Sad and it's a PAYG. Which is why I suggested stealing it and letting him think he's lost it. If that is at all possible.....

JohnFarleysRuskin · 01/07/2015 10:31

This wouldn't make me think of anything - I often get unsolicited texts, reply, might delete, might not...
Eg: 'J says you need a piano teacher?' 'Cheers, but we've already sorted one' sort of thing.
My phone use is very haphazard.

However...you have great instincts, Bogey. And I hope you get some clarity.

Sorry, what the feck is butt dialled? Is it a number you call when you accidently sit on your phone? Or yet another bit of evidence I live a sheltered life, I guess Grin

If I get a text from some unknown person or number I ignore it. I don't need to delete it as I won't have saved it.

he's a lying twat.

AreYouSupposedToBeInIowa · 02/07/2015 18:34

Swap the sim from his phone into a spare phone only you have access to. Put an identical one in his and drop his phone in water by 'accident'. He will be pissed off but realise his phone is trashed and get a new phone, all you have to do then is....wait.

TheFormidableMrsC · 02/07/2015 21:36

Nice work AreYou...I was trying to this up a scheme like that but being a complete technophobe, it alluded me. Definitely worth shot....

TheFormidableMrsC · 02/07/2015 21:37
