This is rushed, my Partner has kicked off tonight I really don't want to involve the police is there any where I can get help from?

Contact woman's aid, they will be able to advise you.

PlumFairy2014 · 13/06/2015 21:33

Are you safe?

If he's being violent get to somewhere safe. Do you have children there?

People will come with better advice soon, but I couldn't read and run.

Women's Aid would help, would you be able to call them?

Better advice will come soon. Stay safe.

OP posts:
PlumFairy2014 · 13/06/2015 21:41

Glad the children aren't there, but you need to keep yourself safe too. Do you have somewhere else you can stay? Or if in your house ask someone to come round and then ask him to leave, I wouldn't do that alone if he is unsettling you or neig aggressive.

PlumFairy2014 · 13/06/2015 21:41

Are you in your house or his?

ALaughAMinute · 13/06/2015 21:42

What did your partner do? If you think you might be in danger call the police.

Babysleeps · 13/06/2015 21:44

He's not here ATM there not anywhere I can go I'm a bit on my own here feel like I might be overreacting he might come back ok

OP posts:
Babysleeps · 13/06/2015 21:45

It's my house

OP posts:
ImperialBlether · 13/06/2015 21:45

Why don't you want to involve the police? You must keep yourself safe for your children.

DragonsCanHop · 13/06/2015 21:46

Go round and lock all the doors and windows, it will help you feel (and be) safer.

What happened?

purplishclouds · 13/06/2015 21:48

Why don't you call women's aid OP . They'll be able to offer some advice. Especially since you're on your own at the moment

Babysleeps · 13/06/2015 21:50

I don't want to involve the police I feel scared to don't feel it's quite that bad, we where arguing I'm pregnant he said he'd had the snip I was just as much to blame I was shouting at him I got few scratches

OP posts:
Fugghetaboutit · 13/06/2015 21:50

Lock yourself in. If he has keys keep key in lock so he can't get in or bolt it.

Call police if he comes back and you are scared x

Babysleeps · 13/06/2015 21:51

Yeah I think I can them thank you

OP posts:
Babysleeps · 13/06/2015 21:52

I have locked up not sure if kick him out for the night though x

OP posts:
purplishclouds · 13/06/2015 21:53

You need to talk to someone OP . Please try not to minimise it and say it's not that bad . Especially if you're saying you've got scratches already .

foolonthehill · 13/06/2015 21:55

keep yourself safe.
If you feel scared then it is bad enough to call the police.
If you have scratches from him you are not to blame...even if you were shouting.

if he kicks off because you have locked him out then that is reason enough to keep the doors locked.

PlumFairy2014 · 13/06/2015 21:56

You absolutely need to keep yourself safe.

You're not to blame. A man who scratches his pregnant partner is a particular kind of awful.

Make sure you are safe and locked in. I would call the police, regardless of whether he comes back. It sounds like he has assaulted you from what you have said.

Are you ok? Do call womens aid, they'll give you better advice.

foolonthehill · 13/06/2015 21:57

0808 2000 247: Women's aid number

they know it is not ok to be afraid of your partner. Whatever the reason.
