I get my done.. costs £5 at local salon every 4-6 weeks. IMO it really isnt the sort of think you can do yourself.. ho wax, deliacte areas etc etc.. and the cold strips just arent as good..

Do both - a little bit of essential "grooming" is not a bad idea. And contrary to belief - if you have an experienced beautican, it shouldn't hurt - that much...

angelinaj · 08/11/2006 20:45

I have a Brazillian. Really Good!!

ohnelly · 08/11/2006 20:47

god no I wouldnt do it myself! Get my eyebrows waxed just never done there! - is it very painful? Mind u had a baby cant be as painfull as that can it?

So I assume you keep your knickers on and they pull them to one side??

OP posts:
angelinaj · 08/11/2006 20:50

Yeah! they do. If they didn't want to do it they wouldn't offer it as a beauty treatment. It does wonders for the sex life

BudaBeast · 08/11/2006 20:50

Yes knickers on unless a brazilian. yes it hurts initially. But mine is down to my knees otherwise! If yours isn't then dont bother!

angelinaj · 08/11/2006 20:52

You keep your kickers on for a Brazillian too! or i do anyway

ProfessorGrammaticus · 08/11/2006 20:54

I do my own with NADS. Sort of a sugar solution. Very effective

ohnelly · 08/11/2006 20:54

Oh ok thanks think I will go for it then - cant be that bad can it? Is a brazillian where they take it all off? or is that something else?

OP posts:
BudaBeast · 08/11/2006 20:55

Oh Ok angelinaj - maybe I'll risk one one day! Thought it was a knickerless jobbie!

angelinaj · 08/11/2006 20:56

Brazzillian is leaving a short strip of hair down the middle. Bald either side hun!

angelinaj · 08/11/2006 20:57

Only downside is the regrowth bit. Can be a bit itchy. But i have tried everything else creams the lot and is generally awfull.

ohnelly · 08/11/2006 20:58

Oh ok also known as landing strip? Ill go 4 one of them then. Thanks BF will have a nice surprize ha ha!

I haven't had the courage for a brazilian. I have just had the sides off and that's not that bad, four quick tugs and you're done. I have coarse hair and I was very nervy at first. Underarm waxing is the killer, I was bleeding. I couldn't do a DIY bikini wax though. A hollywood or a porn star are the terms for the all off wax. Do you get the rear area waxed in a brazilian? If so do this hurt alot?

ShinyHappyPeopleHoldingHands · 09/11/2006 08:47

Bikini lines in relationships...!

Judy1234 · 09/11/2006 09:18

It doesn't really hurt. The lady who does it for me has a brilliant technique of asking very interesting questions at the moment of pulling.
