....and quite frankly it's pissing me right off. She does not work, money no issue, at least 4 foreign holidays per year. She has cleaners (x3), ironing lady and gardner. Fine.

But she moans about being stressed haveing to pack suitcases for said holidays. She called me at work once to say how stressed she was as she was flying to bahamas the next day. She is busy planning her christmas shopping expeditions and telling everyone how busy she'll be shopping, wrapping, delivering blah blah blah, and today she moaned about a forthcoming family portrait session and she is really nervous/has to take 3 outfits for her, dh and her kids and its' soooooo stressful and she's soooooo tired.

Underneath all this I like her, but I want to sceam 'Wake up and smell the fuckin coffe'

Am I being unreasonable?

it's all relative, northerner!

I'm with you btw

There are some people who wouldn't be able to speak except to moan.

Unfortunately, I meet a lot of those folks.

For Christmas, I think you should give this women a tshirt - the trendy 'baby tee' style - w/STFU emblazoned on it.

And let her puzzle it out what that stands for.

She has been sent by a higher being to remind you that money doesn't buy happiness. You should feel happy (and even a little smug if you want) that you have a firm grip on reality.

BTW, not excusing her but for a year while my dh was working in Berlin I didn't work, I didn't even have kids and I had a cleaner, all I really did was have lunch with friends and sightsee, but little chores really did turn themselves into a huge effort sometimes. I had to mentally slap myself around the face a bit to get things back into proportion.

She is smelling the coffee. She's just rubbing your nose in her cast off grounds as well.
