Do you like these horrible beard and tall hair on DH or partner and what about man in pink clothing???? I can't stand it. I don't like man to wear earring either do you like it?

I think the woman look better in pink and only woman should wear earring because it suits her, it looks feminine on the man if he wears it. I'm sorry but I like the man to be looking like a man not he to look prettier than me...that my job.

As the final exam of the Monks of Cool says "Yo, my son, what is the most fashionable garment here?",

My answer is: "Hey, whatever I select".

Greysanderson · 28/03/2015 22:40

Doubt men care what you think of their fashion sense to be honest.

DisgraceToTheYChromosome · 28/03/2015 22:58

Nads covered? Check.

Warm? Check.

Only one item of denim? Check.

Minimum standard, cleared for departure.

Is this thread a wind up?

My DH he likes to put on earring and now he wants to grow a beard! Just because the beard is for fashion but I don't like it.

Like to control your OH much?

BTW a beard is NOT JUST FOR FASHION. It can be eco-friendly. Have you every bothered to ask your OH why he wants to grow a beard. Of course you haven't, have you?

"Tall Hair" what the fuck is that? a 70s "BeeGee" bouffant style?

What next?...you'll LTB & deny access to his children (if any) 'cos of alledged deviant/unreasonable behaviour?

You do not "own" your OH, he is free to grow his beard/hair, dress in pink shirts(?) wear ear-rings if his wants to, HE doesn't need permission from you to do so.

Re:- ear rings...research Elizabethan male fashion (& that includes "high heels" btw)

Re:- wearing pink...research Victorian/Edwardian male fashion.

Beards.... shudder...

Wearing pink is ok, one ex boyfriend of mine was Filipino and pink really suited him.

And earrings are ok too.

But I just don't like beards especially grey beards. I don't know why. And beards that get food stuck in them, yuck.
I keep hoping the hipster fashion for beards is coming to an end.

But then I'm sure there are some things I wear that men don't like.

RubbishRobotFromTheDawnOfTime · 29/03/2015 09:33

"Oh, you've grown a beard. Is that because they're quite fashionable right now?"

"No, of course not! It's because they're eco-friendly."

"Err"

MadeMan · 29/03/2015 13:00

Well I suppose having a big beard means you can probably turn down the central heating a bit and save a few pence on your energy bill. Not sure if that will help the dolphins though.

grumbleina · 29/03/2015 13:05

need more explanation of eco-friendliness of beards pls

grumbleina · 29/03/2015 13:08

ah, MadeMan, that helps.

now need graph of energy savings vs beard length. Is there an optimal level? Presumably extra long = more water needed for washing, therefore bad eco credentials.

MadeMan · 29/03/2015 13:14

Any dolphin worth his salt will tell you that there is a direct correlation between the current trend for beards and the steady decline in getting caught in a tuna net.

Whatsforsupper · 29/03/2015 13:18

Funniest thread in quite a while:)

BitOutOfPractice · 29/03/2015 13:39

It's your job to look pretty?!?!

RubbishRobotFromTheDawnOfTime · 29/03/2015 14:00

Maybe it could be a wildlife habitat, like a bug hotel?

lunalelle · 29/03/2015 14:53

MadeMan - you win comment of the day ;) I await their new album!

My husband thinks 'fashion' is a dirty word, I'm afraid! I have had to come to terms with it :)

Enormouse · 29/03/2015 18:24

Is it about saving water? By not shaving?

Or providing a habitat for displaced voles and dormice?

TheWintersmith · 29/03/2015 22:49

Kudos to discrace for the quote
