Throwing money down the drain

My DP is really winding me up lately, he just throws money around like it's water and it's doing my head in. A couple of weeks ago I asked him to pick up a top for me that I saw and liked that was in a sale so he agreed, when he came back he looked a bit sheepish, presented the top and asked "was this the one you wanted?" so I said that it was and thanked him so he looked relieved and said "oh good, because I bought you two!" why the hell would I need or want two tops exactly the same??

He also told me a few days ago that he was going to get the car washed at the weekend, I assumed he meant a £10 kind of job and he then told me it was going to cost £80 because they "do a really good job" . We were laying some laminate flooring a few weeks ago, we'd put a few pieces down and then DH said "oh sod this, lets hire a joiner..." I'm sure he thinks we're made of money

omg £80 for a car wash

think he is going over the top so i feel sorry for you, i do agree to getting workers in to do jobs to your house as my dh eirther does a brill job or makes a hash of it costing us more so now we agree to get in the proper people

two tops is a lovely gift if they were different but two the same! men think so much more different to women
