Right then... help me with all this wedding malarky...

we are getting married we cannot decide on where, its made our plans stall as we really cannot agree mutually what we want.

so from the following- help me to choose, out of these- I have my faves and dp has his, but they dont match. What do you lot think- Mnet is always the voice of reason- maybe I can get Dp to 'reason' and agree with my choices.

1. deia - mallorca

this is where we met ( mallorca) there are a handful of hotels in the village which would host small weddings - especially hotel la residencia which may need me to sell one of the children to afford it - la res

or here lake garda i know someone who got married here last year and she said it was the most romatic place ever.

or - dps choice anything here especially if it has elvis. LIVE.

las vegas, no way. it's so tacky. it's the kind of thing you'll look back on in 20 years time and really regret. imo
no offence to anyone here who has been married in LV!

if it were me I would choose lake Garda, it looks beautiful.
but maybe you need to compromise? it's about BOTH of you and you both need to find somewhere you're really happy with.

he just wants the whole glitz and 24 hr stuff. A few weeks ago he suggested having it in Las Vegas with us and our guests dressed as super heroes!- he wants it to be all 'fun' where as I something 'romantic'

maybe you could suggest it as an anniversary thing?
have your wedding in lake garda or wherever, then do the Las Vegas thing on your first anniversary and renew your vows or something?

My dream when I was 15 was to get married in Las Vegas (I had been twice). Of course I am embarrased now! Avoid it at all cost.
