Just a bit of advice please- it's a nice subject, honest!

It's our 2nd anniversary this weekend. We were going down to FIL & his wife's with DS to celebrate his 1st birthday a week early with the in-laws but the miserable sod has weasled out of it (FIL that is).
Lovely MIL has agreed to take Ds Saturday night for us. Trouble is, DH has got to work Sunday (as a driving instructor it's a busy day for him).
We can't afford to go out anywhere....
SO...I was thinking of sending DH flirty texts from about Thursday on (obviously from me), kind of "Hi, I've noticed you around and think you're really sexy" "Hey gorgeous, how about dinner at my place Saturday" etc then on Saturday get the dining table out, candles, some fizz, takeaway etc and spend the night getting to know each other again & being all flirty & lovey.

Or is that a big pile of cheese sandwiches?????

Just thought it would be nice. We weren't marrie dlong when I got pregnant with DS, so I thought a bit of "us" time with some courting & flirting thrown in might be nice

lol, no DH and I used to do it loads not so much any more! lol - we normally start a few days b4 with the whole remember i'm going out on sat i've got a hot date with a guy I met in tescos etc! sounds like you'll have a fab time, and may I recommend some massage oils from boots - the purple one smells lovely it's only about £5 and is great for ahem rediscovering each other and playing torcher!

awww iklboo, I think it's really lovely. Do what makes you and DH happy as after all it is all about you two on Saturday. Just make the most of the time alone and have a big romance-fest.

Hmmm. Might call all this off now. Just phoned and asked DH if he's like to meet for a coffee (he's in the area for the next hour). Can't be bothered. He'd have to find somewhere to park, then pay to park, then walk back to the car etc.
Then I asked if he could pick me up from work. Can't be bothered. Might get stuck in traffic (next lesson isn't until 6:30), it's a bit out of his way (is THAT why I saw you drive past the building?????)
