Valentines Day

Valentines Day card

Was thinking about 14th February today.

It's fine if everything is going well, you have someone to make a fuss of, someone who makes you feel like The Dog's Dodah for the day.

But if you don't have all that stuff and you're feeling a bit empty and sad, well what then? All is not lost. I don't suppose the above will change things massively, but it's just a little something....

DP and I don't bother with VD.

We both think it's cringey and shit.

MrsJL I know it isn't everyone's cup of tea My motivation for the thread is to reach out to people who may be going thru a bad time or whose VDay isn't what they would wish for.

Busy, sorry about the loss of your D'H - I lost my DH some years ago, and wish I had known about MN back them. I found VDay felt like rubbing salt in the wound!
