Internet Dating, anyone tried ones which work and met someone?

I am contemplating trying internet dating, not so much the quick fling ones you don't pay for but the ones which are good and could potentially meet someone worthwhile, anyone have any good ones or good stories to share that have come out positive online!! tried match but hit and miss for me at the moment....!!

Met my DP on Zoosk. He was my second date off there - we broke lots of rules - sexting & phone sex before meeting up (never thought I'd do that!..), but the chemistry was pretty amazing. Banter was great & sparks were flying when we had out first date.

Been together for almost 2 years now. I expected to date a fair few men/have some horror stories etc before meeting anyone I actually clicked with, so this was a very pleasant surprise.

I met my DP on eharmony. He asked me to move in after dating for 4 months and 3 years later we are getting married in May.

I recommended the site to my BF. They have just bought a house together and are also getting married next year.

I met DH on Guardian Soulmates 5 years ago. My advice would be to always go back for a second date if the opportunity presents itself (unless #1 was heinous) not everyone who is going to clicks on date one (we didn't but are now very happy together)

Met my husband on plenty of fish. You just need to spend time really focussing on your non- negotiables. I actively contacted blokes I liked the profiles of rather than trying to find someone decent in the ones that contacted me.
