Or is he still young and youthful regardless of actual age?

No way is dh "young and youthful"! He's the original grumpy old man. I think he must have been born that way. My nickname for him is grouch-pot.

allhallows · 06/10/2006 10:23

His b'day's next month & he's already making silly jokes about Heinz 57 varieties.

snap! I called dh Eeyore when I first met him. Is it an English thing? Sense of humour intact, though, & master of the understatement.

Yes he's a right old fart.

He critisised my clothes the other day, saying "They are too young for you, it's like something a 25n year old would wear!"

Er, just because you are 33, doesn't mean I have to dress it! I can dress like a 25 year old if I want, I am only 26!

all that negativity brings you down sometime. Then he has lots of good qualities too, tell you what it get's a bit scary when all old sayings start to come true ie. school days best days of your life (well no responsiblity was good)
