Hi,

I would just like a general opinion, is what my husband said rude?

"We are doing a leaving do, you're not invited and you will need to pick me up"

I think it is rude but he can't see it.

Thanks in advance
Alex

People will treat you how you teach them to treat them. If you accept him speaking to you like that, then of course he's going to continue doing so, espeically as it seems to be the sort of bloke he is.

He wouldn't have got past first base with me, but then I can be a mardy cow. But at least my dh and kids treat me with respect. Every time I drive any of them anywhere, they always thank me at the end. And ask me nicely and politely first if I would mind doing it.

Dh does all the food shopping and cooking in this house, and I do the laundry and most housework (work only part-time). But even though ironing is "my" job, dh would still ask politely if I'd be able to do him a couple of shirts for later in the week, if I've got time. And he thanks me for it.
