I would nip that in the bud

Refuse to have him in the same room if he does it.

MT

BettySpaghetti · 16/09/2006 15:03

Then he'll just do it in the car at the red traffic light in full view of everyone! (Why do men do that?? You don't generally see women doing it do you?)

Greensleeves · 16/09/2006 15:04

I would (at risk of incurring the wrath of MN) counsel some form of behaviourist system involving pinching and possibly hair-pulling

Pinotmum · 16/09/2006 15:22

Yes, quite vile I agree. Dh has a good old scrummage about when watching TV. I usually make a comment along the lines of "do you mind? Can't you get a tissue?" It's his disposal of bogeys that bothers me - rolls them and flicks them thinking I don't notice . He used to blow his nose in the shower without a tissue -footballer stylee - which I nipped in the bud sharpish. I'd get in the shower and see green bits on the tiles and once on dd's baby sponge. Grounds for divorce I tell you

Dp picks his nose too but only in the car! His dad does the same, dd also picks her nose and eats it..urgh. I do admit to having a good old pick now and then but not when anyone can see me!

Moppi · 16/09/2006 15:51

Oh dp eats his bogeys too! he said recently there nice -there salty

you could always point out that picking your nose in the car is really dangerous, cause if someone goes into the back of you, your finger'll go up there and get stuck! (that's what my driving instructor said anyway...)

my dp is always going on about how he needs to "adjust" himself. why is that ok, but it's not ok for a girl to surreptitiously scratch?
