of course you do misdee, its a big part of any relationship. for you.

Glad you didn't change your name, its nothing to be ashamed of.

misdee · 12/09/2006 11:53

i think the last time we did anything, he was at the beginning of end stage heart failure(if that makes sense) and it was 'are you ok, can you breathe ok? ....' not exactly brilliant lol.

Oh bless, it doesn't sound very romantic does it! Have you thought of, erm, toys?

misdee · 12/09/2006 11:55

It was bound to be something that cropped up eventually misdee, nothing to be about - I don't know any MN'ers who wouldn't be the same.

No advice for you though

Flamesparrow · 12/09/2006 11:57

I was thinking about you and that the other day (does it sound odd that I was thinking about your sex life???).

No advice though.

misdee · 12/09/2006 11:57

lol@you thinking about my sex life.

littlemissbossy · 12/09/2006 12:00

LOL at Flamesparrow "I wonder if misdee's had some today?"

sorry misdee, no words of wisdom for you ... don't even know what to suggest TBH

misdee · 12/09/2006 12:02

i mean, when he has his ICD fitted, one of the questions in the booklet askes 'what happens if it goes off during sex' and u=it says that the partner would also get a 'slight tingling sensation'. i wasnt sure if that was a good or bad thing lol

OP posts:
MamaG · 12/09/2006 12:03

Ah, so you have thought about toys!

misdee · 12/09/2006 12:04

i have a rabbit but you cant exactly have a post-orgasm cuddle with it.

OP posts:
littlemissbossy · 12/09/2006 12:04

sounds like an added bonus to me

Flamesparrow · 12/09/2006 12:08

It had been about 8 months since me n DH had done anything (just too bloody tired), and I was thinking, that I was getting stroppy and it was my choice, what must it be like for you who doesn't have the choice.

The tingly sensation sounds interesting though

misdee · 12/09/2006 12:09

thats what i thought as well, till peter described how when it goes off, its like being kicked in the chest and throws him to the floor/bed.

OP posts:
littlemissbossy · 12/09/2006 12:11

OMG!! you'll both be frightened of it going off!!

misdee · 12/09/2006 12:18

exactly. but with the LVAD added now its an impossibility anyway.
