I have caught thrush and have never had it before. I am a tiny bit worried my DH might have picked it up and given it to me if you know what i mean!!

Could he have cheated for me to get this or is it quite common to just develop.

It can jsut develop. Often after antibiotics.

SoupDragon · 11/09/2006 19:09

Although I had it out of nowhere.

or too tight jeans!

LucyJones · 11/09/2006 19:09

Very common just to get it. Doesn't mean he has cheated at all. You can get it without even having intercourse. Have you got something from the pharmacy for it?

MrsApronstrings · 11/09/2006 19:10

it can develop without being transmitted by a partner - a course of anti biotics and pregnancy both make you more prone to it. Your partner could reinfect you with out having symptoms though.

Unless you have other reasons to doubt his fidelity it wouldn't cross my mind

Thrush is very common & isn't always caught through sexual contact. Things like bubble bath etc can sometimes cause thrush. I know that the first time I caught thrush was way before I had started having sexual relationships.
Go along to your local chemist & you should be able to pick up some cream to treat it.

Also a lot of sugar in your diet can cause it.
