Day time meet for second date

Met a lovely man through OD at the weekend - met for coffee and found lots to talk about.

We're meeting again next weekend, day time again as it suits us both, not sure what we're doing yet. But i imagine if we'd met in the evening it would have been easier - could have got dressed up, had some wine etc. Am thinking day time date will be different, less opportunities for flirting less kissing?

What do you think? Any advice? Very new to OD or dating of any kind.

Could you go to a place of mutual interest, like a museum, zoo etc if you both like them? I went to London zoo for my second date with now dh - it was very romantic, and gave us lots to talk about.

Boat trip? Country walk and lunch at a nice pub? Picnic on beach or in a park?

I think daytime dates can be very romantic if you pick the right setting. Also gives you chance to see what someone is like - literally - in the cool light of day when they're not dolled up to the nines and you're not looking at them through the bottom of a wine glass. :) Loads of opportunities for flirting and snogging!!!

Do not underestimate a day time date!! They are a great opportunity as someone else said up thread to see people in a different perspective.

Go for a walk around a country park, feed the ducks, pack a little picnic.

Go round a museum/national trust property/local attraction then linger over tea and cake, planning date 3
