Divorcing

I am divorcing. My sol has asked me to write down my expenses. H pays all the house stuff at the moment. But I don't have a clue what to write down. How much for 'incidentals', how much for grooming (dogs and me - dogs are higher maintenance than me). I just don't know where to bloody well start. Thank you all.

Petrol
Can you find a past receipt from your groomers? Take that as an average per session.
Vets?
Insurances?

Thanks smiles. I will be going to bed soon and intend to get my act together tomorrow and start this list. I haven't a clue what to write down so anything that springs to mind to anyone would be helpful. Thank you.

I find the best place to start is bank statements (unless you pay cash for everything...?). They should give you a good idea of where money goes every month...

If you go onto Marilyn Stowe's website, she has some downloads and one of them is a budget spreadsheet. You may not need all of the list but it certainly helped me as a starting point. There were lots that I hadn't even considered.

www.marilynstowe.co.uk/

First page. There's loads of downloads which look helpful.

Thanks smiles!

She's a very good, famous divorce lawyer, you can also get a free download of her book on divorce from Amazon or a paper version for about £5.
