she found out because her dd found him on it. When she called him on it he disappeared to the toilet and deleted his profile while she watched/

what is snap chat for? who uses it? and why?
friend says that messages delete after 30 seconds. his profile was about the size of his cock....
so im guessing he wasnt on there for chat about the royal family....she is devastated and just weighing up her options,

does anyone have any experience of snap chat? it is suss isnt it....?

I don't know, I'm afraid, so interested to hear.

But he was doing it in front of her DD? How old is she?

It's all about time-limited visuals, from what I can tell. Teenagers tend to use it for quick "look what I'm doing" pics to their mates, but I can see that it's ripe for sleazier applications. The images last for just a few seconds, but if the receiver is quick off the mark, they can still be screenshotted.

Dear Goodness - so ideal in fact for cybersex? I wonder if most of the users would be teens in fact? (If so, the age of that DD might start to be pretty unnerving.)

Teenagers tend to view the sex side of it as a bit saddo, from what I gather. But I couldn't speak for older folk, as I don't know anyone our age who uses it.

cozietoesie · 06/05/2014 00:39

I'm thinking only that if there's a potential teen audience out there, I would be particularly disturbed if he was using it in an area where - say, for argument's sake - a teenage girl was close by.

Is it her house or his, Vicar ? (I'm just thinking of the easiest immediate process here.)

ThatVikRinA22 · 06/05/2014 00:40

oh dear. sounds like his profile was for sexting. his profile was about the size of his knob....

her dd is in her 20;s - she found him on it and called him on it - he denied using it and then deleted the profile.

doesnt sound innocent does it Sad

thank you.
she left him a few weeks ago but they got back together for another try - she is now of the opinion its a lost cause.

he has clearly been up to no good.

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 06/05/2014 00:51

Completely a lost cause in my view.

I am, at least, partially relieved that her DD is a grown woman. I had been considering only between the options of him leaving with his bags or leaving with Our City's Finest.

Salazar · 06/05/2014 01:24

Are you sure it is snapchat? I use it every day, and as far as I'm aware you don't have a 'profile' -nowhere to write about his penis anyway - unless he has been sending messages about his penis.

Yeah most likely. Very odd though.

Walkacrossthesand · 06/05/2014 01:39

I'm suddenly powerfully reminded of the sardonic 'penis song' in the film 'the sweetest thing' - 'ooh, your penis is so hard, your penis is is so big...Grin

mammadiggingdeep · 06/05/2014 07:10

I have a few friends at work at we use it for silly pictures of our weekend...

You don't have a 'profile' on it though so I'm not sure you're talking about snap chat??

sarahquilt · 06/05/2014 07:23

Only one reason to be on snapchat...

Minime85 · 06/05/2014 07:23

its used a lot by teenagers and u can certainly screenshot even posts only done for a few seconds. I'm a teacher and its a huge issue in secondary for sexting

littlewhitebag · 06/05/2014 08:27

I use snap chat daily to send random pics of what I am up to to my DD's and DH. They send pics back. It is fun. I have never used for sexting. Any app which can be used to send messages or pictures can be used for this purpose, snap chat is no different. You can take a screen shot of any pic sent to you but the sender will be aware that you have done this.

godlessdomestic · 06/05/2014 08:39

I use snapchat a lot within my friendship group - we send silly pictures to each other all day. Never sent a dirty one! Please don't tar us all with the same brush.
