How to defriend H on Facebook without causing a scene

He's posting things on Facebook, designed to annoy me
I would just block/defriend him, but what I really want to do is tell my friends to delete him, without making a song and dance about it

Any suggestions?

Just unfriend and block him, tell your friends to ignore his nonsense or do the same, there's no reason to be connected via fb if you're separated

How about, don't look on Facebook or delete your account? Use Instagram if you need to.

Why do you need to keep on using Facebook? You could just close your account.

You don't need to show your relationship status as separated - just don't have a relationship status at all.

I would either do a status to everyone saying 'I'm leaving fb guys' then just block him and don't really leave!

He'll just think you've deactivated your account

so unfriend and block him then there is nothing to see or upset yourself with. Don't live the drama of your separation out online.

Block him

Then leave the rest to your friends to make their own minds up.

Like Miranda says, you don't have to have a relationship status at all, just untick it. I did that and I don't think it even came up on the newsfeed.

If you block him he doesn't get any kind of notification, nobody does, but neither of you will be able to see or search for each other on fb, just do it
