Recurring dream about ex

For some reason I keep having re-ocurring dreams about my childrens father , we broke up two years ago, before that we were together for 8 years and had two sons together. We broke up on good terms and whilst we're not exactly the best of mates we are civil to each other.

He now lives with another woman (again we're civil to each other) and I have been with someone else too...there are NO feelings there between me and ex at all so why the re-curring dream? they're always to do with us getting back together too which I would never in a million years do....

Its getting to be an almost nightly occurance! any experience of this?

Yes. I think..........in a big hippy manner............ i was seeing the relationship through in my dreams so i had some of that wonderful American closure. Deciphering all the crap and feeling love to counteract the huge shock to my system i felt when it suddenly ended.

I had loads of dreams aswell where his mistress/ wife/ x man/ gladiator/ popped her head out from under the duvet just as i was climbing to get in with him.

It was gods way of helping me never touch a small penis again because he was letting me do it in a paralel world instead of the real one.

PMSL fairyfly! you make me laugh...

I get recurring dreams. Not as regularly as you though!

i would say that you have issues with regard to your current relationship, (not necessarily about wanting to get back together), but perhaps there is something you want him to agree with you on, and currently he isnt?
