just need to get this of my chest so bear with.

Midwives on obem talking about connections between parents during labour.

So my ea ex sabotaged my labour with our first child, undermining me, sniggering, siding with the midwife, persuading me to take pain relief I didn't want.

Second child (Iknow, it takes time) walked into delivery room, I was quite a long way on, snarled at him 'you sit over there and shut the fuck up' delivered 30 mins later.

God knows what the midwife thought.....

was the massive start of my empowerment though.

I think that midwives and nurses hear far far worse during certain stages of labour. Must have made you feel good though!

Bumping this in light of Rashida Nanjoo's comments (Rashida is the UN special rapporteur, currently compiling a report on violence against women in the UK) that Britain is the most sexist country in the world (yes, I am aware of Britain's problems with gendered violence but really...come on Rashida!).
