My SO has a fetish...

My SO is a lovely, sensitive (but strong) guy. He has a real thing about tights and loves me wearing them which I don't mind one bit as I have, I am told, good legs and often wear dresses and skirts anyway. I have also come to accept that he likes wearing them too on occasions and only in private. I like smooth men so don't mind if he keeps himself hairless for this. However, I have struggled with this at times, but I am pretty liberally minded on the whole.

Anyone else experienced this or similar fetishes in their men for fairly mundane things?!

Thanks

Yikes. You could have just described an ex of mine there.

It never really bothered me but sometimes I felt like he liked the tights more than me tbh and it got to the stage where we couldn't have sex without them. I wouldn't want the same to happen to you.

Just be honest with him about where your boundaries are.

Offred · 27/03/2014 21:05

If you feel uncomfortable you need to tell him. Not a good precedent to set in a relationship, covering up discomfort for the sake of appearing open minded...

JoStrom · 27/03/2014 21:22

@ somedizzywhore1804 - He isn't that obsessed, but thank you - i hear it is much more common than men or women reveal. @ Offred, it's more me curiously questioning myself - "is this OK?" than feeling uncomfortable - in the moment I really don't :o) Thank you though.

A tights fetish is pretty tame in the grand scheme of things.

But whatever is right for you.

Meerka · 28/03/2014 07:36

It's okay and not a problem - as long as he listens to you and doesn't let it go as far as dizzy's husband. Bit of indulging in his harmless kink is fine as long as he doesn't allow it to become all consuming. Open communication is kind of all important here.

Boringly vanilla here but got several friends who are, well, distinctly living an unvanilla lifestyle. What goes on between genuinely consenting adults is fine by me, as long as it's not in my face

My dp has a hair washing fetish Hmm I indulge him now and then but he doesn't expect it every time!

Fontofnowt · 28/03/2014 07:50

Soft brooming.
Mine loves to sweep the floor every chance he gets.

Tis a burden but I'm bearing it.

But seriously.
Most fellas ime like tights and stockings they are soft and feminine.
The tights not the fellas.
Nothing unusual at all.

JoStrom · 28/03/2014 08:40

Oooh Meerka, care to share as to the unvanilla 'flavours'? Lol

The tights are a bit unusual, stockings seem more usual, but I think men like both because it is underwear and they can see it when you're dressed.

Just to clarify- NOT my husband!! My ex Grin and part of the reason he is my ex is because he had some unusual ideas about sex tbh. Doesn't sound like OPs partner is as bad though.

bauhausfan · 28/03/2014 19:30

I had an ex who was into tights too. He was pervy in other ways too and we broke up. The tights were the least of my worries. He alluded to having 'specialist magazines' dedicated to tights. Dear god...

JoStrom · 29/03/2014 07:18

Thank you all, doesn't sound like mine is at the troublesome end of the scale!
