In a new relationship and very likely to consummate soon , but I am a bit concerned at what men expect these days. Is everyone having vagazzles, brazilians etc. Do ordinary women - like myself - just go for neat and tidy? I'm feeling self conscious and a bit embarrassed.

Dare I ask. What about greys?

Ex OM had a slightly hairy back as well as a hairy chest. I found it manly and i find that manliness a turn on. But its so much more than whether a few hairs are shooting out of someones skin. Its down to chemistry too.

I like to keep mine short and tidy, been doing this since I was 20. Dh likes it short but I do it for me, hate feeling overgrown! I use a beard trimmer (which I only use!) Would definitely wax completely if my pain threshold weren't so low, can barely tolerate an eyebrow wax.

Heard a dj on radio this morning talking about how he gets back sack crack done every two months, was surprised he was discussing it so openly on air.

One of my friends has a landing strip style and another prefers the full jungle effect.

Well rid of that extra baggage. Always been a swimmer and honestly I couldn't for the life of me "tidy up" sufficiently whilst not making a strange shape. Gave up and got rid. Never had any itching of I growing. Perhaps I'm lucky. Never thought to ask a partner what they thought; wouldn't make a difference anyway I'm not doing precision art down there for their benefit. Got places to be!

I went out with a large, very hairy man who shaved only his public area. It looked, frankly, ridiculous having this small bald area, but I just took the attitude 'your pubes, do what you like with them'

For grey hairs just either dye it or lighten it depending on your hair colour.

When I was a teen, in the very hairy seventies, when young women never dreamed of taking a razor to their minge (in fact they would have been thought most odd), we used to be horrified/impressed that Mary Quant dyed her fanny hair green.

I shave clean, its neat and tidy that way.

why do some women like having a shaven haven?

I've heard that some people think it's cleaner. For me, washing has always been helpful there.

I leave all the hair on the front. I like how it looks. The underneath i.e. labia) sides and backside (I am not ashamed - I have a hairy bum) I get waxed off. I hate the idea of not being able to "wipe clean" cos of hair (sorry tmi)

So I guess like a Brazilian except looks like just a bikini side wax from the front

I once had it all off for dh birthday surprise......he said (direct quote) "can't do it babe, its bald....looks like my bosses head"

I'm an all or nothing girl. For me nothing worse than half hearted maintenance. Do it right or just leave it the hell alone.

I have to contend with a little extra down there given that I am transgendered. Have a Brazilian all the time (done by my lovely friend who happens to be a beautician) but when I have full op gonna go Hollywood, yay!
