Just noticed my DP "liked" this on FB as it popped up (pardon the pun) on my newsfeed

I thought "yeah right" then googled it well blow me! it appears to be a very popular day.

As my DP gave me a wonderful valentines day I'd like to give him something special so this is just the thing.
any of my lot heard of this day already?

It's supposed to be a light hearted idea as valentines is normally all about the woman. It's a suggestion to even it up.

In my house we have steak. I like steak. BJ is very optional :)

Umm, steak and blowjob day for women is February 14th, when most poor men have to look at their phones, panic when they see what date it is, then suddenly have to arrange flowers, chocolates and restaraunts as well as cards, on the pain of tears and the curses of the female world.

Steak and blowjob day was instituted in the name of gender fairness, though considering the mental effort involved for the givers on this day is much, much lower I still think it's really unfair.

My partner and I had a pizza, action-movie and anti-puritan wild f*cking day as an alternative to either.

Well we will be celebrating it as we celebrate everything in this house. It's a laugh that's all. If I'm ill on march the 14th or am too tired then obviously it will be put off.

These threads always bring out two kinds of people, those who boast about how their dh gets loads of blow jobs anyway and those who act all disgusted at such a terrible degrading day.

We also have pancake day to look forward to in march Grin

my exh (note the ex) expected (yes, really) sex on high days and holidays, his birthday, Fridays, but at 9pm so he could still go to the pub, and if his team won. Knocked that on the head sharpish.

If he'd known about this it would probably have been on the calendar.

I also can't understand the women in this thread asking when our day is?

If DH is getting a nice meal, he's not eating it alone so I get a nice meal too.

Also, getting a BJ doesn't mean that's all that happens! I rather enjoy giving anyway, but I would fully expect that to be the start of more so where's the problem in that?

Its worse than valentines day IMO as its more dictatorial. However I'll always laugh at the time my nan sent me over a steak to cook and it just happened (I hope!) to be on steak & bj day, even funnier when I rang to thank her she said "im doing steak for my man so I thought you could do steak for your man too" (im a veggie so dp never gets steak think my nan felt sorry for him). He gets the odd bj though Smile
