50 miles to push a DVD through the door!! wtf??

My exP left 2 weeks ago. He still has stuff in our garage which I have threatened to dump.

Earlier he pushed a DVD of mine through the letter box, obviously went into our garage to check his crap hadn't been dumped then drove off with his victim/girlfriend/idiot woman in the car.

What a knob! Why drive 50 miles up the motorway to do that??? He hasn't taken anything that I can see. I reckon he was showing off to his victim, this is my 5 bed detached luxury home - see how wonderful I am to have afforded all this??

She's his new 'victim' - it's my name for her. He doesn't have any friends. I can count the number of real friends he has on one hand.

And yes, why didn't he take his stuff, or text me to say that I can get rid of it. He obviously checked through it as it was disturbed.

It wasnt just about the dvd.

I don't know if he cheated, he met her 3 weeks after I ended our 6 yr relationship and she has moved him with him, 5 weeks after they met.

He was horrible to my DC (and to me sometimes). This new woman has 4 kids (3 older, but one 4yr old) no doubt as the relationship progresses he will show his true colours.

Mmmm he reads (or did do) all that I write on MN. He was deeply hurt by the posts I've put and what I've said about him. He even told me he'd forwarded them all to his solicitor!!

Am sure his solicitor will enjoy reading through my ramblings. Infact he keeps threatening me with his solicitor but I don't think he's even got one!

My Ex used to stalk me on MN and another forum. He even posted a very bizarre thread pretending to be a wronged wife gender reversing our marriage. It was hugely helpful to me as AF told him our marriage was over and he should get a solicitor and tell me to fuck off (which I promptly did!)

I think he wanted to "win" mumsnet and "win" all our friends and not have anyone thinking ill of him. He liked to control everything.

I agree with Cog I think he is just reminding you he is around and this is his house and you mustn't forget that. It is slightly intimidating.

The thing about saving your threads is funny. If you anonymously say "my husband is abusive to me" and he says "hey that's me" he is admitting he is abusive. And if he says "that's not me" then he must have the wrong thread! It is a real Catch 22 for him.
