Back to the dating scene, and in need for some tips!

I have been away from the dating scene for a while now; but a new beginning seems to be on the way :) I am heading for my second date, but I am starting to freak out - not sure what to wear, what to talk about, etc. Any tips?

If you've got to the second date, presumably you've ascertained that you've got a few things in common/similar outlook on the world.

What are you doing for the date?

Assuming it's in the evening and depending on the activity, I'd go for something simple/classic but sexy - depending on your style this could be a dress or jeans and a top with heels.

Have a few conversation topics lined up in your head in case of nervous silences (the Olympics, the weather(!), any plans for holidays this year) but hopefully it will flow and you'll have fun!

Go with the assumption that he (assuming it is a he) is probably just and nervous as you. Be yourself. Be confidant and be happy. But not falsely happy so much as you come across as hysterical! If you feel too nervous in the persons company take that as they're probably not right for you. Plenty out there. Be fussy. Don't settle for any old man.
