Hubby and iPad

Looking on the history on our family iPad and discover hubby has been looking at porn. Whilst I'm not a prude, I'm mostly concerned that 9 year old DS uses it to, for minecraft and the internet and I'm worried he'll see something he shouldn't. I feel I need to discuss with hubby.. any advice welcome, please!

Why is this complicated? You say "DH, I see that you have been watching porn on the family iPad. If I can find it, so can our child. Can you please either clear the history or get your own porn viewing device"
Hardly rocket science.

Put parental controls on the iPad with a password he won't know/be able to guess.

Are you sure it's not your son looking at it??

Genuine question by the way - I've seen enough posts on these forums about young lads and the crafty things they go looking for on the internet....

I'm sure your DH would have the decency to hide the internet browsing history if it had been him....

Er, don't you just say to him that you found porn on the iPad and it's inappropriate given your DS uses it and you (and you assume that he) wouldn't want DS to see it?

Or are you concerned about him looking at porn generally?

I think parental controls are the best option

Ironic that OH is head of ICT and has always dismissed restrictions. Now I know why! I feel my resolve for a 'dry February' slipping away :(

You should now be able to access your account at your ISPs website if you are with one of the big five ISP's and set the filters at the router to exclude porn. Job done.
