Labia chafing

Anyone else have this problem?

Basically when we have sex if it goes on for more than a few minutes/vigorously, then I find the skin on either side of clitoral hood (about half-way up, on the labia to the side of the hood, not actually the hood itself), develops a raw patch, on both sides in about the same spot, but usually worse on one side than the other. This heals in a few days and in the mean time is raw/painful.

Anyone experienced this?

Any tips? Not shaved, but DH has both shaved and not shaved IYSWIM, in the past and it doesn't really seem to make any difference. Don't know if it's rubbing against pubic hair or something?

It's an external problem, the actual vagina is fine.

Hmm, can't say I've experienced anything like that. Does it only happen through PIV sex? GP?
