My DD's hardly ever sit still at our meetings either and there are plenty of other kids that don't.....thats why we have a mother's & baby room to escape to.
Honestly if your pil feel under stresssed by taking him to the meeting, everybody else there will probably love having some kids to fuss over and won't mind in the slightest.

I have to 2 dd's to occupy at meetings 3 times a week! colouring books are wonderful!

cupboardy · 02/08/2006 16:03

you are allowed to rant about your in laws but they could take them both the safari i agree and I think jehova could wear earplugs

alicemama · 02/08/2006 16:04

I'll take my dd's to their meeting for you if you like....dd2 will easily drown them out

Carmenere · 02/08/2006 16:06

Well my God loves little children and it's only really rigid elders who tut when kids misbehave at a service. That said if they feel they can't handle both of them at the service maybe they just can't.

Do they have to have them for Thursday night rather than from Friday morning ?

madmarchhare · 02/08/2006 16:38

Is there something different about thursdays meeting? Generally ILs take DS to church on Sunday moring if they have had him on the saturday night, but occasionally, if its something special then they ask if they can bring him home first as he is a bit of a handfull at the mo (2.8).
