Hi ladies, this is a question from my friend, I have done this but it didnt go down very well so wanted to ask here.
She's 33, his 35, friends for a while, now serious couple, she's got 4 year old son - she wants him to love the boyfriend just as much as she does !
Any tips?

She can't make her small child (4 is past toddler stage, BTW) love anyone. What she can do is encourage her boyfriend to show an interest in the child - get down on the floor and help him play with duplo, take turns pushing him on the swings, and (most importantly of all) back off and give the child space if he has a clingy moment and wants his mother's attention.
